Ah, food. Who isn’t excited by them? Both of us love and appreciate good food. Since the beginning of our relationship, we’ve been traveling to try and find good food that we like. One thing that we notice the most is our dependency on food that we grew up with, staples like rice and potatoes. Jess can’t live without rice; Paul can’t live without bread and potatoes.
Even though we love food, we don’t spend much time cooking; most of the time we’re doing take-outs. At the rare time that we’re actually cooking, we try to make it as simple as possible. We will share with you one of our favorites: fried rice and five best simple recipes to cook them.
Here are our favorite simple fried rice recipes

One thing that perplexed me at the beginning of our relationship was that Paul ate rice with a knife and fork. That’s blasphemous! You should eat it with spoons or chopsticks. That’s the right way to do it!

Wait a minute! In my defense, knives and forks are used to cut the chicken, beef, shrimp, or whatever the rice comes with. I only have two hands, so that would be the most efficient way to eat it.
Jess
Then you have to learn how to eat with chopsticks.
Paul
But… *sigh
Jess
Just kidding, I love you no matter what. Even if you can’t use chopsticks 😀

Do you like fried rice? What kind of fried rice that you like, and have you cooked them yourself?
